As a licensed Certified Public Accountant, Jim Bales is also bound by the professional confidentiality obligations of the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, which apply in addition to the terms below.

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses PostHog to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. PostHog may set cookies or use similar technologies to recognize repeat visits and aggregate behavior. We do not use this data to identify individuals unless they explicitly contact us through the form.

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and delivered to Jim directly by email. We retain inquiries only as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, in accordance with the records-retention requirements that apply to CPAs. We use commercially reasonable security practices, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Vercel and uses PostHog for analytics. These providers process limited technical information on our behalf under their own privacy practices. We do not share form submissions with any third-party marketing platform.

Your Choices

You may request that we correct or delete information you've submitted by contacting us using the details below. If you're a North Carolina resident or are otherwise covered by a state privacy law that grants additional rights (such as the right to access or delete personal data), we'll honor those rights as required.

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults seeking professional accounting services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
